CSL league – game report: Namibia Dairies vs SKW (CSL) 0 - 5

The game started off with certain frustrations due to late kick-off and no balls being provided by the opponent (it was an away game for SKW). This however could not disrupt the game plan of the SKW boys who started off aggressively with quick offensive play and solid no risk defending at the back.  SWK’s efforts were awarded early into the game when an excellent ball, played out of the midfield, found the SKW striker Janis who finished off in style after a cracking shot into the top corner. Only a few minutes later Janis could capitalize again after a strong individual performance. It was Janis night, he got his hat trick 10 minutes before half-time, after another well taken long range shot. In the second half it was Namibia Dairies who came out strong pushing extra players into attack trying to get an early goal. Good defence and good goal-keeping however ensured a clean sheet for SKW. About 20 minutes into the second half it was Mervin who made the score 4:0 when he received a long ball and finished off with a clever ball passing the ND keeper. Just before full time it was Junior (substitute for Janis) who made the score end at 5:0 after he took a rebound volley off the cross bar. In the end it was a well deserved win for SKW and Janis earned him the “man of the match” award with his hat trick

SKW u/19 vs MTC 1 - 1

SKW CSL team goes TOP
Yesterday evening the SKW CSL team took the lead in the CSL league by beating DTS by two goals to one away. In a nasty game the only thing that satisfied me as a coach were the 3 points SKW coach Schonecke stated after the game. At home it was the u/19 side of coach Harald Fülle who could hold MTC to a one all draw in a very good game of football. SKWs Kita could find the net for the SKW youngsters. The SKW CSL Team leads the log with 12 points follows by Trusco and the NBL Team. The u/19 are currently on 5th position with 4 points out of four games.

The SKW boys went down to a strong MTC side when Janis Janser could equalise just before halftime. The score could of had a bigger margin but Janser failed to convert two more easy goal opportunities. One all at halftime Coach Gero Schonecke brought NPL youngster Marchelle Delie on the left wing. But it was Julianus Rukamba who struck a piler from 30 meters mid in the second half into the right top corner. SKW keeper Björn Roxyn had to save two vital balls late in the second half to hold on to the three points. SKW's man of the match award went to midfielder Julianus Rukamba who had a magnificent second half.
